Fingerprinting Service

The Purdue University Police Department offers free fingerprinting services to help community members meet requests for background or security checks, military, VISAs and specialized licenses. Community members must provide an official photo ID, Purdue ID and any fingerprinting cards that have been received.

Those wishing to take advantage of this service must complete this online appointment request form. Our staff will then provide an appointment date and time by email.

PUPD does not conduct fingerprinting for gun permits.

  • The service is available by appointments only. No Walk-ins are allowed. 
  • Limited service available by appointment only.
  • All applicants are required to bring and wear a facial-cover or mask during the fingerprinting session.
